The year is 1579 and you are invited to spend the weekend at the  Aureli villa,  located on the banks of the Po River just outside the city of Ferrara. The Viscontessa has planned a lavish feast for her royal guests and their entourage, showcasing the talents of the cooks,  musicians, singers and dancers under her patronage.

Lava Trolls and, their cousins, Rock Trolls have been sighted in the hills of Klakavirki. He fears his wooden peasants will not be enough to stop their advance. He calls for aid to divert the trolls attention from himself and his wooden subjects. Mostly himself. He promises rewards to all those that aid him and his wooden peasants in fending of those stinking trolls.

The enemy is at the Tower gates and the King calls all archers to arms. Defend the Castle then track the enemy thru the woods, down the long path to their own Castle and make our attack! Along the way, you'll fight with bow, knives, axes and Atlatl.

For 35 years our great and marvelous lands have faced and defeated a mighty foe. Each time this demon dared to threaten us, we the people of Loch Salann looked among us for a mighty defender who would rid our lands of this beast. Each time, that call was answered.

Have you ever wondered it would be like to be in the labyrinth with the Minotaur? Come to the Dominion of Myrkfaelinn and find out! Come fight and fence in the labyrinth. Come dance in celebration of the victories. Come take part in children's activities and learn about history. Bring a story or a song from mythology to share.

Get your tickets early for the Canton of Borderwinds' (in the Barony of Tarnmist)  29th Annual Court of Love, on Saturday, March 9, 2013. This " no hats" event will be held at Ramona Garden Park in Arroyo Grande, CA. The site opens at 10:30 am, and ends at 11 pm.

Join us in the beautiful grounds of a grand house for a day of games and fighting. Depending on numbers there will be Heavy and Rapier Tourney and the possibility of some Archery as well.
