All too soon, Their Excellencies Lucas and Madeleine, Baron and Baroness of Ynys Fawr, are stepping down.  The newest Ynys Fawrian Canton, Lightwood, in the gorgeous Huon Valley of Tasmania, is hosting the Investiture of Their successors.

Then, feast upon the decadent offerings of our hunters and gamekeepers at Rowany's premier summer event.

Matthew Browne, who many will know as Lucas, previous Baron of Ynys Fawr, will be teaching a fundamentals course in wrestling, dagger and longsword. He will be covering principles, techniques and drills interpreted from teachings of the students of famed German fight master, Johannes Leichtenauer. Wrestling, dagger combat and longsword will each be given study.

Please come and join the Barony of Caer Mear on December 15, 2012 for our Yule celebration. There will be dancing, musicians, games and much fun!

It is that time again for our semi-annual business meeting. We have a new location for this one and I am already in love with the owner, he is fabulous. His banquet room holds 50 and he stated we can add to that if necessary. I will be trying out the food this weekend, but if what I heard online is true, we are looking at some good stuff.

To inaugurate our exiting new partnership with Christ Episc.Church in Warren, Rivenvale will be hosting a monthly Fight Frolic and Food Night, every  3d Monday of each month 6-9pm , this months date is Dec 17, 2013.
