To the city of Troyes, controlled by Phillip the Good, the current duke, comes England's King Henry V to treat with the French crowns. With Burgundian, English, and French men-at-arms jostling elbows in the city's taverns, Baroness Martelle von Charlottenburg of Bright Hills hopes the tensions do not spill over in the festivities she will host at her nearby manor. (Of course, you know they will!)

Tourney style will be round robin with the winner of each bout presenting a yellow rose to the spectator of their choice.

Velkomen!  Winter Nights or Old Norse Veturnætur was a Norse winter festival that was initially celebrated in pre-Christian Scandinavia. It was said by Snorri Sturluson that Winter Nights is one of the three most important festivals. This festival also marks the end of the summer and start of the win ter meaning the end of the harvest work and it was a time to celebrate.
