The Coronation of Ullr and AnnaLyse will take place September 25, 2010 in Granville, Ohio.

To the populace of the west, the time has come for us to gather once again and take part on the equestrian arts on September 25, 2010 in Lodi Ca. It will be a day full of pageantry, games, and classes for everyone. There will also be the second annual West Kingdom Equestrian Championship.

One and all, come join the fun as we celebrate our First Annual Rapier Championship and Mini Collegium. Enjoy the various classes and watch as we choose the first Rapier Champion of Danegeld Tor. It will be a fun filled day for all.

On September 25th and 26th, the Incipient Stronghold of Hellsgate will be sponsoring a fighting seminar.  We have asked Earl Duncan Ross to come and teach classes for us and those who wish to attend.

Come witness and/or participate in the selection of the next Bard of the Mists while eating a delicious Mediterranean feast. Bards from all over the Principality will compete to become the next Bard of the Mists, and the feast will be cooked by James MacAllister and Mische Nadler and their merry minions. The menu will be posted to sca-west and also to the Principality website once it is finalized.

THE PROLOGUE: The site will be Camp York in King's Mountain State Park (1277 Park Road, Blacksburg, SC 29702) and will open at 5:00pm on Friday, October 1st and close at 11:00am on Sunday, October 3rd.

The Baronies of Innilgard and Ynys Fawr and the Shire of Arrowsreach are proud to announce the second Great Southern Gathering, a series of classes on all things SCA. As in 2009, the aim of the Gathering is to provide an environment for the teaching of various combat and A&S subjects in a relaxed atmosphere. Classes will be taught throughout the weekend, while Sunday is a day for tourneys and various combat related activities.

Spring War will be held once again this year in the Barony of Mordenvale from Friday 1st of October until Monday 4th of October (gates open 1pm on Friday).

From the 14th of May till the 6th of June the early bird rate of $80 for members and $87 for non members is available.

All bookings must be fully paid.

It's that time again, Fall and time for the Shire of Northover to host Harvest Home. As is our habit, we are trying to have an event which is a little different from the norm. This year's theme should prove to be unique and very exciting.

We are pleased to announce the International Vinland-seminar in Chicago, a three day event dedicated to the Norse discovery of America and Scandinavian Viking Culture, 15th – 17th October 2010.

Strife, contempt and vengeance. That which we seek, that shall we have! We are miffed that our northern neighbors haven’t cleaned the Dragon wastes from the desert and the stench has become unbearable. It has become necessary to take them to task once again in hopes of settling this dispute once and for all.

Celebrate the last harvest of the season and the coming of the dark times…woooooo-hoo! The hobgoblins and little people will be about, and making merry with the traditions of the season. There will be a heavy weapons prize tourney, with an additional contest for the Most Realistic Death.  Additional fun will include a turnip lantern carving contest (Bring a turnip as only a limited few will be available).

The Society for Creative Anachronism offers so much - revelry and pageantry, honorable combat, delicious feasts, dancing, arts and sciences, and . . . . . a chance to conduct corporate business.

The Barony of Tir-y-Don has a new Patron Saint. Come join us as we celebrate St. Brigid's Thread Needle Faire with Poultry Farmers, Dairymaids, Blacksmiths, Watermen, and Seamstresses. Fight till you drop, sew till your fingers bleed or take classes until the cows come home.

Unto the noble populace of the Sylvan Kingdom of Aethelmearc, does the Shire of Blackwater extend invitation! The Fall Crown Tournament of Their Royal Majesties, Duncan and Ilish, shall take place on October 16, 2010 from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. at Firemans Park in Allegany, NY 14706, whereby Their Royal Majesties shall find suitable Heirs to carry Their lineage!

Join us for a full day of Friendship,  Fighting and Frivolous Fun. We will have a heavy weapons tourney to determine the defender of the Mountain Pas'.

On Sunday October 17t, 2010 from 11am to 5pm the Canton of Skorragardr will be hosting a Northern Regional Fighter Practice at the Kidspace park in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

All ye Meridien Gentles are invited to enjoy and compete in the annual Talmere Tourney. Champions will be crowned in Heavy and Rapier fighting. Prizes will be awarded for Arts and Sciences, and for the talented Bards among you as well.

I wanted to put this out here, just in case anyone might be up in our neck of the woods on October 17th. The first regional fighter practice held in this round was hosted by Glaedenfeld the day after Tavern Brawl and was a real blast! We hope to have as big or better a turn out up here in Murray!

Der Welfengau is holding the next in a series of large scale fencing practices on Sunday, October 24, 2010 the day after Crown Tourney, at the University of Guelph. These practices are intended to bring a large number of fencers and people with an interest in the martial arts of the SCA
together to share what they know and have fun while doing it.

Now bend your ear to this! Our beloved shire is under siege from traitorous swivel tongued pirates! We have successfully negotiated a parley, but our pantries are depleted Come and defend our Shire's honor or join the pirates and convince these scurvy knaves they can be defeated!
