Last year we celebrated the long weekend in January by roasting a sheep, learning how to prepare chickens for the pot, camping, fighting, feasting in the open, enjoying meals cooked over an open fire, shooting with our bows and taking the children on pony rides!
Come one Come all to Jour d'Amour V hosted by the Shire of Drakenmere. Be prepared for plundering, pillaging, walking the plank, fighting till you drop, and eating like the Pirate King you Are – all in celebration of Pirate Love!
On January 22, 23 and 24, 2010, at The Escambia County Equestrian Center, 7750 Mobile Hwy., Pensacola, FL, 32526, the GULF COAST FULL CONTACT JOUSTING TOURNAMENT will be held from 6-10 pm Friday Jan. 22, 12-4 pm Saturday Jan. 23 and again at 6-10 pm Saturday Jan. 23, and 12-4 pm Sunday, Jan. 24.
