The year is 1242. The Mongols have swept through the lands, making many things their own in the process. Now Batu han, the grandson of Genghis Khan, is ready to establish his capital at Saraj. Join the Golden Horde for a celebration of conquest, the horse, and the Golden Camp along the River Volga as the Turks and Mongols are united as the Tatar people.

Come join our fair shire at this idyllic site for a day of learning and friendship in the Italian tradition. A variety of Italian themed classes and others will be offered for your educational pleasure. Anyone willing to teach or merchant is welcome, as well as those who wish to learn and shop. There will dancing, entertainment, a gaming area, Bocce (lawn bowling), and a surprise or two. A children's area set aside,(no structured activities are scheduled).

NAFDA, the North American Frame Drum Association, will sponsor a workshop featuring drummers from around the world on October 17, 2009 in North Hollywood, California.

Come join us as we witness the stepping down of Baron Hachmood Braden von Soberheim & Baroness Mistress Giliana Attewatyr, the Investiture of 8th Baron and Baroness for Arn Hold, and last but not least we will choose a new Baronial A&S Champion AND our FIRST Baronial Youth A&S Champion.

Once again the Baron and Baroness of Ben Dunfirth invite the people of Ealdormere to the quaint setting of their hunting lodge to celebrate the bountiful harvest, the plentiful game and the joy of the hunt. May they raise their voices in song, and toast of the finest meads and spirits in the Kingdom. This year, for the first time, we will send a challenge to the brewers and vintners of the Kingdom to enter the fruits of their labours in competition.
