This is our annual Demo for the public; please show off your best for the moderns who attend.
Gaelic Games are back bigger and better than ever. Yep, we're throwin' a ceilidg and y'all are invited. We'll have our annual Shire champion tourneys: archery, rapier, and heavy fighting. All are welcome to participate, for your entertainment: Caber toss and other Scottish games, music, drumming and dancing. They'll be lots more so come out and join us for a weekend of revelry and camaraderie.

It is with the common desire to study, learn, and apply new skills that the Kingdom of Atenveldt is announcing the 2009 Atenveldt Kingdom Arts & Sciences Collegium. The Collegium will take place in the Barony of Atenveldt. This is a two-day event.
As Aethelmerc sees war on the horizon, the soldiers gather to learn new tactics and tried and true formations that will guarantee a swift victory. This year the Barony Marche of the Debatable Lands opens their gates for the armies of Aethelmearc to gather and prepare.

The idea is to make a pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela using as medieval gear as possible.
In short, our " frame of reference" is romantic history as seen by the SCA. The trip will take a minumum of seven days, we will walk approximately 150 kilometers and this will cost (approximately) from 200€ to 500€ (depending how much you have to fly).

Marche of Tirnewydd in the Barony of Middle Marches. This event shall
be held on June 6th AS XLIV (2009), and shall consist of grand

Woodland Romp is an outdoor camping event which officially starts Saturday. There will be feast on Saturday with a return of "rat on a stick" and an intermission. More details on feast will be provided at a later date. A tavern will be on site for lunch, donations are appreciated.
