Food and drink will be available for sale instead of served as a dayboard or feast. There will be both a common room for the general populace and for entertainment, and a room for more dedicated and quiet activity.

King Olaf found the people there to be good, strong, and wise. He and his beautiful Queen Aislinn Schattenwald saw fit to charter a Barony in these southern lands, and was inspired to named it for the mountain he had found. He ordered the populace to choose leaders for their new Barony, and with His Blessing, Eldon Ungol of the Phoenix and Marie-Simone de Barjavel la Fildena became the first Baron and Baroness of these new lands. Then, as the night fell, the Mountain became Hidden once more, only to reappear once a year, to celebrate her recognition and the work by these fine people, and all who have followed. The Shire of Two Seas would like to invite you to Hamburg, Germany for the Northern Frankmark Fighter Practice. On April 4, 2009. We will meet to endeavor in and improve those martial crafts practiced in the SCA. Heavies and fencers of all levels are welcome! Please bring whatever equipment you have as there will be slow work armored combat, sparring, and anything else a fighter could desire.

Since 1990, the Kitchener-Waterloo branch (Bryniau Tywynnog) of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) has presented a day of classes exemplifying the best of the Middle Ages. Over the years, several other groups such as the Dark Ages Recreation Company, Regia, and AEMMA have joined the SCA in making this an exciting and educational event. FITP is a non-profit event with any profit going to the local chapter of the SCA (a non-profit group). The local chapter also covers the losses in the years where FITP loses money.

Calling all Artists and Scientists to the Kingdom A&S Event in 2009,
hosted by the Barony of al-Barran on Saturday, April 11, 2009.
Since this is holiday weekend for some, Their Royal Majesties wish
to make this a day event only. By combining two separate events
into one, Kingdom Competition and Queen's Prize, this event makes a
wonderful opportunity for all artisans to compete and or display
their craft.

A Regional Fight Practice and Demonstration will be held on Saturday, April 11th from 1pm until 5pm at Reynolds Jr/Sr High School. The Shires of Riversedge and Hunter's Home will jointly sponsor this day. There will be no cost to anyone and the public will be invited to watch and learn.

Oye! Oye! Oye! Come and join the populace of Bestwode Shire for our Spring Feast. There will be merriment a plenty as contests of skill, Archery, Weapon Throwing and Heavy Fighting commence throughout the day. There will also be entertainment, an auction, and a table top siege engine competition.
