The Twa Corbies Tavern is an SCA event that recreates a little (alas, we are not Le Poulet Gauche) of the flavour and feel of a period tavern. Food and drink will be available for sale instead of served as a dayboard or feast. Performers will attempt to entertain you in return for your applause and, if you're generous, some additional token of appreciation. There will be both a common room for the general populace and for entertainment, and a room for more dedicated and quiet activity.

His most noble and Gracious Majesty, King Olaf Askoldsson was traveling the southern reaches of his Kingdom, and came upon a Mountain, Hidden at the southern tip of Atlantia. King Olaf found the people there to be good, strong, and wise. He and his beautiful Queen Aislinn Schattenwald saw fit to charter a Barony in these southern lands, and was inspired to named it for the mountain he had found. He ordered the populace to choose leaders for their new Barony, and with His Blessing, Eldon Ungol of the Phoenix and Marie-Simone de Barjavel la Fildena became the first Baron and Baroness of these new lands. Then, as the night fell, the Mountain became Hidden once more, only to reappear once a year, to celebrate her recognition and the work by these fine people, and all who have followed. As the end of October nears , we can feel the Ice Dragon's breath upon the lands of our beloved AEthelmearc. With each rush of it mighty wings we can feel the great winds. Soon our lands will be covered with the ice and snow that The Ice Dragon brings with it. Aye, winter can be beautiful, but the hope of Spring is always on the edge of our thoughts. After a winter of indoor events, fighting and fencing indoors, and all that comes with those long winter months we will all be looking forword to Spring and the passing of the Ice Dragon from our lands.

The year was Anno Societatis 18. His most noble and Gracious Majesty, King Olaf Askoldsson was traveling the southern reaches of his Kingdom, and came upon a Mountain, Hidden at the southern tip of Atlantia. King Olaf found the people there to be good, strong, and wise. He and his beautiful Queen Aislinn Schattenwald saw fit to charter a Barony in these southern lands, and was inspired to named it for the mountain he had found. He ordered the populace to choose leaders for their new Barony, and with His Blessing, Eldon Ungol of the Phoenix and Marie-Simone de Barjavel la Fildena became the first Baron and Baroness of these new lands. Then, as the night fell, the Mountain became Hidden once more, only to reappear once a year, to celebrate her recognition and the work by these fine people, and all who have followed. Since 1990, the Kitchener-Waterloo branch (Bryniau Tywynnog) of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) has presented a day of classes exemplifying the best of the Middle Ages. Over the years, several other groups such as the Dark Ages Recreation Company, Regia, and AEMMA have joined the SCA in making this an exciting and educational event. FITP is a non-profit event with any profit going to the local chapter of the SCA (a non-profit group). The local chapter also covers the losses in the years where FITP loses money.
