Take note that on February 7, 2009, in the middle of the carnival period, will be held on the lands of Bois Ardent (in Trois-Rivieres), the second edition of The Feast of the Fools*. Bring your jingle bells, your masks, your colorful costumes, your inner silliness and your sense of humor in order to give a magical tone to this event. Games of skill and known activities from the A & S of the SCA will be part of the program. The Barony of Delftwood will be hosting a regional heavy weapons practice on Sunday, February 15th at the Polish American Citizen's Club (PACC) in Syracuse, New York. Practice will begin in the upstairs hall at 1:30 PM and run until no one wishes to continue fighting. This practice tends to be predominately melee fighting but there is also plenty of time for pick-ups. So please, come out, have a great time, and hit your friends with sticks!
