Come and join us on the 22 and 23 November 2008 as we usher in a new chapter in River Haven's history to celebrate the divestiture of Wendell and Catalin and the Investiture of their Baronial Successors.

Saturday will see a display of Rapier and heavy combat, as well as fabulous courts and fine hearty feast.

Armour inspection starts at 11.30am for Rapier and 2.30pm for Heavy combatants. Feast starts at 6.00pm. On Sunday there will be a Baroness's Location:

Two great haunted Doges and their allies match wits in 15th-century Florentine style, plotting in contests of Sword, Rapier, and Chess to win the day and be hailed as "The Most Mighty, Cultured, Cunning and, uhh... Frightening City-State."

This is a combined Tournaments and Dance event. There will be heavy, rapier, and chess tournaments as well as dancing all day, and a Masquerade Dance Ball through the evening. Everyone is encouraged to bring masks to add to the ambiance. We planned this event soon after Halloween for a reason! Location:

Come down to the Canton of Tear Sea's Shore for a day of fighting, fun and feasting for the annual Feast of St. Andrew. This will be a lovely event to celebrate the holiday season and what better way than to spend it with your SCA family.

Martial Activities:
A full day of fighting is planned. Three rounds of fighting. The First round is Mass Weapon and shield in the tradition of the Scots. Extra points will be given for use of anything other than a sword. The Location:

Calling all archers of the Kingdom of Caid! By the grace of the Barony of the Angels, the Barony of Lyondemere is pleased to bring you Fall Queen's Champion Archery, in honor of Kolfinna II, on Sunday November 23, 2008. This season's tournament in honor of our new Queen will be challenging. Set in a forest-like setting beside Pasadena, the Roving Range has a variety of distances to shoot. We will challenge and delight all archers with lanes that vary from 15 feet to 70 yards. We will only be shooting 4 arrows in each lane, but bring extra arrows. Location:

Cairn Fell invites those who would partake of games, a picnic and noble combat to attend the Lyos Memorial Picnic on Sunday, November 23rd 2008 from 11am until 5pm at Mount Franklin* (10 minutes from Daylesford, Victoria).
