Greetings Unto the Populace of Ealdormere, from Edouard and Domhnail, King and Queen of the Lupine Lands. We hope that one and all are enjoying the Norman and Saxon power struggle!

As you may have noticed, We have not taken any official champions like many of Our predecessors. Instead, We have selected 3 spear bearers and 3 axe bearers to attend Us. However, We would be remiss in Our duties if Ealdormere did not have champions to take the field at Pennsic. It is Our desire that those who seek to champion Ealdormere at Pennsic, come to War of the Trillium where We shall host tournaments which shall decide Ealdormere’s Pennsic Champions. We would ask only those who know they will be coming to Pennsic to participate. Location:
Canton of Ard Chreag (Whitby, Ontario)

The sixth biennial Known World Dance Symposium will be held in Seattle, Washington this summer. Early pre-registration is now open, and proposals for workshops and performances are being accepted. An outline of the schedule is also available. More information about the site and lodging will be posted soon. We expect that registration for on-site lodging will be available in March.

The event is organized by the Seattle branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), the Barony of Madrone. The SCA is an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe. Our "Known World" consists of 30,000 members residing in countries around the world. Members, dressed in clothing of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, attend events which may feature tournaments, arts exhibits, classes, workshops, dancing, feasts, and more. Location:
