This will be a period event focusing on Norse and Irish traditions of the Viking era with fighting, contests, games and a Grand Feast! There will be a multi-weapons tournament, a Viking raiders tournament of ships, and a monastery raid where you keep what booty you can escape with.

There will be contests in, axe/spear throwing, archery, wrestling and more. We will repeat the siege-cooking contest "Barbarians at the Gate" the Norsemen are coming! Bring whatever you need to feed 20 warriors and maybe they will go away, leftovers will be used at the feast. Many contests and games for children of all ages so come join us. Site has water, electric, and bathrooms with pay showers. Location:

For both the heavy and fencing Warlord tournaments all are invited/requested to bring along something to place in the Warlord's treasure chest. The Shire of An Dun Theine is partnering with the Huntsville Museum of Art to do a family fun demonstration at the Museum on June 16th, Saturday 1:00 - 4:00. We want to invite all local SCA groups to come out and help kick off the exhibit with grand pageantry and style.

Shoot 'til you drop, ride 'til you fall, compete for the title of Schuetzenkoenig, and feast and revel into the night. The event opens with a torchlight shoot on Friday evening. Saturday starts with some challenging twists on the standard Schuetzenkoenig competition, the Nordskogen Archery Championship tourney, and an afternoon of novelty shoots and a youth-only shoot.
