Master Stephan of Durham, the Seneschal of Gleann Abhann, says that the new Kingdom's first Coronation has been rescheduled for November 5, 2005 at a site in Louisiana. The milestone event had been postponed indefinitely due to the devastation from Hurricane Katrina.

The Ansteorran Emergency Site, maintained by HL Chiara Francesca Arianna d'Onofrio, has been set up for Disaster planning in the SCA Kingdom of Ansteorra. This site will be used for the duration of the hurricane season as threats come in that kingdom's direction.

The Barony of Brendoken, located in northeastern Ohio, collected over $900 at a recent silent auction to benefit those affected by Hurricane Katrina. Money from the auction, held in conjunction with baronial championships, will be donated to the Red Cross Hurricane Relief fund. Two photo albums from the event are now online.
