Twelve years after they were married, SCA members Cara McCandless and Barton Branstetter decided to translate their memories of England into a medieval home of their own. Archaeologists have found gold and amber jewelry in a Celtic tomb near Herbertingen, Germany. They believe the tomb belonged to a noble woman from the area. The tomb is part of a region that was an important Celtic trading center in the 7th-4th centuries BCE. |
