On October 17, 2010, Artist and Illuminator Kandy Phillips will present will present a lecture entitled Gilding the Lily: The Medieval Garden Illuminated at the US Botanic Garden in Washington DC. The lecture will consider "the important role flowers played in medieval life, lore, and medicine." |
