Battlefield vigiling of Kaylah the Cheerful of Ealdormere

On August 3, 2009 Their Majesties of Ealdormere placed Kaylah the Cheerful on vigil to contemplate elevation to the Order of the Chivalry. The vigiling took place on the battlefield at Pennsic XXXVIII. Eyrny captured the moment on video.

Well-preserved Kaupang found in western Norway

A team of Norwegian archaeologists has discovered a well-preserved Kaupang (Viking trading post) in Lærdal, Sogn og Fjordane County in western Norway. The site includes the remains of more than 30 buildings. (drawing)

Successors chosen to lead Barony of Rising Waters

Aeneas and Aibhilin, current Baron and Baroness of Rising Waters in the Kingdom of Ealdormere, have announced that their successors have been chosen. The new Baron and Baroness of Rising Waters will be Baron Richard Larmer and Lady Annabelle.
