In late July, Chivalry Sports, well known supplier of clothing, armor, and weapons to the SCA and Renaissance Faire communities, closed the doors of its store in Tucson, Arizona for the last time. Phil Villarreal, reporter for the Arizona Daily Star, has the story.

Concealed for more than 100 years behind plaster, a mosaic angel dating to the 14th century has been revealed in the Hagia Sophia Museum in Istanbul.
