New exhibit on books of hours at the Getty

The Getty Museum in Los Angeles has two new exhibits on medieval books of hours on display. "Painted Prayers: Books of Hours from the Morgan Library" and "A Masterpiece Reconstructed: The Hours of Louis XII" will both run through January 8.

On Sunday October 30, 2005, the National Geographic Channel will present Hannibal v Rome a two-hour epic story of "an African warrior who would dare to challenge the impossible and shape the course of human history."
