As the spring doth bring renewal of life it also brigs for the threat of that devious demon decapod that saline swilling fiend of the depths once again setting its many limbs upon the shored of Loch Salann. Once again the warriors of the now endangered Barony are called upon to push this threat back into the briny depths from whence it reared it's vile head.

The gentles of the Barony of Caer Anterth Mawr and the Shire of Ravenslake are very excited about this years’ camping event. We have planned many activities. The site is the same as last year and it absolutely beautiful.
We are surrounded on three sides by a lake where there is a beach for swimming. There is a hill with trees that adds to the fun of the fighting field. We will again be sponsoring heavy, light and children’s combat and archery. There will be A&S classes and activities and merchants selling their wares.

On the 11th day of March in the 40th year of the society - known commonly as 2006 - we Michael and Sati do invite all who are minded to attend an Artemisian Coronation held within the Barony of Loch Salann with all the traditional activities of the day including the Champions tourneys (Kings, Queens and Rapier) and other such amusements as The Crown may devise.

The Shire of Ad Flumen Caerulum invites all the people of our fair kingdom and of all other regions of the known world to come to the "AFC - Arts & Science Expedition II". Visit some of the most famous Museums of Vienna or maybe the fabulous cloth discount "Textil Müller" (woolen cloth for 5 Euro per meter). There will also be merrymaking in the evening with gambling, some music and A&S classes (i.e. Bayeux embroidery class with Lady Racaire).

The Barony of Darkwood invites the West Kingdom to our Annual White Shield Tournament & Feast. Join us for a day of fighting and A & S displays, competitions & classes. The wonderful day of fighting, classes, and competitions will be followed by an amazing feast of Italian delights prepared by Head Cook Caterina di Guglielmo. The feast will be served family style. Attention cooks and brewers, teachers of the culinary and brewing arts, and those who partake of food and drink! Join us for a day of classes on all things edible and potable. On 11 February 2006 we will gather at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Newark, a wet site that is handicap accessible, has two kitchens, and six classrooms. There is a large gathering space for merchants, the all-day dayboard and the A&S display. Newark has many hotels within 5 to 15 minutes of the site. We are only a short drive from I-95. Contact Hedewigis for a list of nearby hotel/motel accomodations.

Come celebrate the investiture of our new Baron and Baroness. We will be hosting three on three melees for both the heavy and rapier lists. There will also be competitions for bread baking and the creation of warm garb.

Join us for a day of skill and merriment in the Tudor Court. Some of the finest dance teachers in the Known World will travel to teach their fine art to our courtiers. As well, a fencing tournament of Great Renown will be held in honour of their Majesties. A magnificent feast has been planned, to be followed by a Grand Ball in the evening. The Court of Love will once again be in session throughout the evening for the populous to bring forward their quandaries of the heart.

The 4th Bi-annual 'Known World Bardic College and Cooks Collegium' has been approved by Society and will be hosted by the Kingdom of Ealdormere on the October 6-9/2006 (Fri-Mon) long weekend in Acton, Ontario, Canada (a short 40 min ride form the Toronto Airport.
We will have 80 beds available, as well as full meal plans for the weekend, and day rates... (and are arranging good rates at local area hotels)
