Greetings to one and all from the Shire of Silver Keep, in the (not really so far) Northern reaches of beautiful Artemisia! In just a short while, the Shire will be hosting the Feast of St. Valentine! We hope you will venture out to see us this February 9, 2013.

The Board of Directors of the Society for Creative Anachronism will meet on January 26, 2013 in Tucson, Arizona.

The College of Saint Felix is under duress. Our land owner, Sir Sable, has gone mad with power and once again threatens to enslave us beneath his rule. If left unchecked, his insanity will destroy our very way of life!

The College of St Aldhelm invites the populace of the Kingdom of Lochac to join us at our annual Newcomers' Feast and Tourney, welcoming new members to our College. To give them a taste of some of the activities on offer in the SCA, the event will include fencing, heavy fighting, dancing, singing, board games and a play, in addition to the feast itself.

The Barony of Carolingia cordially invites you to raise a glass and join us in camaraderie, storytelling and song as we host the King and Queen's Bardic Champions event.  To fill out the day, there will be a Roman feast prepared by Baroness Aurelia Rufinia followed by dancing and drinking into the night.

Highlands War is a seven day (Sunday June 9, 2013  to Sunday June 16) event hosted by the Barony of Ered Sul, Kingdom of Atenveldt, one of the 19 Kingdoms of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA).

Lava Trolls and, their cousins, Rock Trolls have been sighted in the hills of Klakavirki. He fears his wooden peasants will not be enough to stop their advance. He calls for aid to divert the trolls attention from himself and his wooden subjects. Mostly himself. He promises rewards to all those that aid him and his wooden peasants in fending of those stinking trolls.

Step Spritely 2013, Ealdormere's premier Dance and Early Music event is on February 9.  Thanks to the fundraising efforts of the Dance Community and the contribution from Vest Yorvik, this year, the event is *Completely Free*.
