Hear Ye, Hear Ye, yet again winter draws nigh and the shire of Glen Rathlin is once more hosting Yuletide University. This year we hope to run a set of 4 classes focusing on a day in the life of people from 4 different times in history as well as a schedule of other classes. Anybody willing to teach please contact the autocrat.

[WES] Medieval Faire and Turkey Tourney

On November 14, 2009 Gavilan College is presenting a Medieval Faire in conjunction with Darkwood´s Canton of Hawks Haven. It will basically be an all day demonstration of medieval life similar to the Rennaisance Faire.

When you think about Twelfth Night, perhaps the Shakespearean play comes to mind, which may then make you think about Queen Elizabeth I (1533-1603) and then you might start to think about other things that are late period. We would like to encourage everyone to come show off their finest in late period garb for their persona at this year's Twelfth Night event.

One of the most traditional events in Aarnimets, the Midwinter Feast is going to be bit different this year. The warm spirited occasion to celebrate friendship and love in the spirit of St. Valentine. Friends old and new are most welcome to our party.

War of the Lilies is an annual event held in the center of the Kingdom of Calontir in June. It has been said that Lilies is so much like a vacation, you may forget it is a war, and it is our hope to continue that tradition.

The Mobile Renaissance Faire! Held each year in Mobile for the past 8 years! The 8th Annual Mobile Renaissance Faire will be held on Saturday and Sunday, November 14-15, 2009, at Hank Aaron Baseball Stadium located at 755 Bolling Brothers Blvd., Mobile, Alabama, 36606. Faire will be held from 10 am to 5 pm each day.

The event will be a three-part affair, beginning at 10am on the day of the 24th of October, 2009. Saturday mid-morning to mid-afternoon, the Baronial Rattan Championship Tourney will take place. It will be run by the outgoing champion, Brien McShane.

[AET] Regional Fighter Collegium

The Incipient Shire of Ballachlagan invite one and all to an impromptu regional fighter practice on Sunday, November 1st. Practice will start approximately at 12:00 noon and will run until 6:00 p.m (Rain, shine, or snow). Our facility can accommodate both heavy and light fighters.
