The Shire of Misty Highlands is proud to host a day long of martial activities at AEthelmearc War College on June 7, 2008 at Mason Dixon Park, 61 Buckeye Road, Core, WV 26529. There will be pick-up fights and authorizations starting in the morning, with classes beginning at noon. Battles in the afternoon till all are satisfied or ready to partake in the delicious feast prepared by Don Anias Finn (email@example.com

The great Baroness of Caerthe, Mary of Blackthorn has spent this long, cold winter dreaming of the great fighters of her realm. She sent a missive to the beautiful Baroness of Dragonsspine, Lydia of the Pines, to challenge her to a chess match at the first thaw. At the behest of their Excellencies, fighters will meet on the chessboard of battle to support their most excellent Baronesses. Each move on the chessboard by the baronesses will be fought on the tourney field by their fighters.

Please join us as we bid warm welcome to the incoming Baron and Baroness of Caer Mear. We will be celebrating throughout the weekend with a display of Gules and Azure about your person in anyway you feel might enrich the occasion for all. For most, this means clothing in a heraldic fashion, but we welcome all dsiplays of the Mighty Blue and Red.

Good Gentles, please join Their Majesties and the assembled nobility in Loch Salann on May 3rd for the Kingdom Arts and Sciences competition.
The Champion Competition will be a minimum of 5 items and a maximum of 7 entries in 3 different grand categories. The score for all entries will be totaled and divided by the number of entries to give the "average" score. The artisan with the highest average score will be declared champion. All entries MUST have documentation to be judged in the competition. Further competition information will be posted on this website, or you may contact Baroness Casamira, the Kingdom Minister of Arts and Sciences, directly.
