Welcome one and all for ALL the fighting you can stand! Fight those elusive Knights you've heard about but haven't met. Show them how well you handle your sword, and learn well how to take a hit. Armor inspection starts at 8:45 am and ends at 9:45 am sharp. There will be a squire and men-at-arms list, double elimination. LIST STARTS AT 10:15

Fort Gaines is a Civil War Fortress situated on the sandy white beaches of the Gulf. Legend has it that Prince Madoc of Wales landed here in 1171. Now the site will be remembered as the Coronation site of Maximillian and Lethrenn!

Site opens at 4pm Friday. There are no beds at this site, but there is crash space for 100 inside the fort. Period tents are allowed within the fort, nonperiod tents are allowed outside the walls on the grass. There is NO electricity. Shower facilities are across the street at the mundane campground(your shower ticket is included in the site cost). If you want to stay in the campground, call (251) 861-2742 for reservations. Military personnel might try renting a cottage at the Coast Guard Recreation Center. Location:

We've opened up our home to the friends we know and to the friends we've yet to meet. The theme for this revel is "Back to Basics" which means that we are extending a special invitation to people who are new to the SCA to come and learn this organization from the ground up. But we can't do it all alone! So we are also inviting everyone else to come and help show the new comers what you have learned. We'd like to have people come and teach classes in anything you'd like, but keep it geared toward the new comers. And that's just during the day!! Come join us again in the heat of the summer sun for a weekend of fun. A recreation of the wonderfully successful invasion of England in 1066 is to occur. Be one of the Good (Normans), Bad (Vikings), or Ugly (Saxons) (autocrat preference definitely shows) as we try to relive a bit of England's important history.

There will be fighting, archery, and maybe some more fighting. The fighting will include Warlord tourneys, hill battles, and bridge battles, and whatever else comes to mind.
