DREAMSTONE TOURNEY XXVII: A Great Tournament Tradition Continues! The People's Barony of Bryn Madoc invites one and all to Dreamstone Tourney 27 to be held on April 21-23, 2006 at A.H. Stephens Historic Park, near Crawfordville, Georgia.

The Shire of Owl's Nest would like to invite you to a once-a-year event specifically tailored for newer members and those wishing to learn the basics of the SCA.

As it has happened for centuries, the seasons continue to change. In October, Lady Autumn held the peace until it was time for Lady Winter to take over. It is now April and Lady Spring holds the peace until it is time for Lady Summer to return. The Stronghold of Nebelwald invites you to join us for a day dedicated to the arts and sciences honoring the eventual return of Summer. The theme of this event is all things summer. By honoring Lady Summer, we hope to speed her return. The morning will be dedicated to the Mything Quest, a Gathering of Goslings, and an assortment of classes for all ages and interests. Lunch will be served at midday so we can mentally and physically prepare for the afternoon activities. The afternoon will be dedicated to another set of classes as well as discussion groups, populace choice contests, and whatever activities the populace wishes to engage in.

Spring is in the air and it is that time of year again. The flora start to blossom, the fauna start to look for mates, and Lady Summer begins to plan her return.  As the weather becomes warmer, the valiant fighters of Drachenwald leave their winter hibernation and take to the field.  The air is full of the cheering of the spectators, the calls of the heralds, and the unmistakable sounds of the heavy fighters - "whack" as rattan strikes rattan, "thud" as a blow lands, and "ow" just before the blow is called good.

Come one and come all to Caer Galen's famous May Day celebration, an event just for kids (or kids at heart)! This is a fun-filled celebration of the glories of Spring! Hear the history of kites as you build and fly (weather permitting) your very own kite! Engage in a challenge of wits and mettle to conquer games and win the boffer tournament to find the next worthy Guardian of Caer Galen's fabled Unicorn Horn.

The Baronies of Jararvellir and Nordskogen are proud to announce our twelfth annual Warriors and Warlords event. It will take place Thursday, July 6 through Sunday, July 9, 2006 at the NCN North LLC Campground, north of Black River Falls, WI, in the beautiful Shire of Shattered Oak, Kingdom of Northshield.

On an unusually warm and sunny winter afternoon, the Mayor of Smeewick steps up to the podium to deliver his address. "Good people of Smeewick, our town were once a beacon onto the Kingdom. Now, it has been ravaged beyond recognition by pirates and gypsies. We owe it to ourselves and our children to restore Smeewick to its former glory!"
