Altar of Ghent recreated in Easter Eggs

Artist Oksana Mas has recreated a fragment of the 15th century Flemish masterpiece made entirely of pysankas (painted easter eggs). The current piece is 8 stories high and is on display in Kiev, Ukraine.

Lincoln Castle's Magna Carta to receive new vault

Lincoln Castle, in Lincolnshire County, England, will receive a facelift thanks to grants and fundraising amounting to almost UK£19m. Improvements will include a new viewing vault for the Magna Carta. (video)

Evidence of early Jewish presence on Iberian Peninsula

Archaeologists have found the earliest evidence yet of Jews on the Iberian Penninsula. An excavation of a Roman villa in Portugal has revealed a marble slab, probably from a tombstone, with a Hebrew inscription dating to 390 CE.
