Such a day will be possible when the local SCA group invades Virginia's Hilltop Berry Farm for Medieval Games Day on January 28, 2012. The Art History News blog has published the full transcribed inventory of Catherine Howard's jewels, from the manuscript in the British Library. The transcription was done by Tudor historian Alasdair Hawkyard and compiled by Nicholas Bristowe, who was clerk of the King's wardrobes.

Curators at the Historical Museum of the Palatinate in Speyer, Germany know they have a well-aged wine, but are unwilling to crack open the bottle for a taste. The vintage in question is a 4th century wine found in a Roman grave, which has stood in the same spot in the museum for 100 years.
