Celebrate the fineries of the thirteenth to fifteenth centuries. Inspired by accounts of feasting in Middle English and Old French romances, this Midsummer feast will be an occasion of chivalry, fin amour and pageantry.

After the Hot months are over it can take a some time to dust off the armour and get back into combat. Each year Abertridwr offers a comfortable beginning to the Tournament Season; a Single sword counted blows round robin tourney in the cool of the evening in an indoor air-conditioned venue.

[LOC] Burnfield's Australia Day Demo

Come and show off your skills both martial and crafty. Gin Gin Historical Museum is providing a free breakfast at the show grounds and free camping at the museum grounds. Demo is from 7am till 3pm.

[LOC] Investiture and Baronial Champion Tourney

You are cordially invited to join the Barony of River Haven in honouring Baron Wolfgang and Baroness Contarina for their service to the Barony as they step down as Baron and Baroness of River Haven, and celebrate the investiture of Master William Castille and Lady Katherine Alicia of Sarum as new Baron and Baroness of River Haven.

Join us in the beautiful grounds of a grand house for a day of games and fighting. Depending on numbers there will be Heavy and Rapier Tourney and the possibility of some Archery as well.

Rowany Festival is the largest event in the Kingdom of Lochac, and is hosted by the Barony of Rowany every year during the Easter break. Rowany and Lochac are groups within the Society for Creative Anachronism.

[ATL] Feast of Saint Andrew

The Canton of Tear-Sea's Shore may lie in the Lowcountry, but, as winter nears, its heart turns towards the Highlands.  Once again, we invite to you to “Go Gael!” and join us at the Feast of Saint Andrew on the weekend before the winter solstice.   The site, the Colleton Saddle Club in Walterboro, South Carolina, opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m. on Saturday, 15 December, 2012.

The Barony of Arn Hold invites one and all to a celebration of life in Al-Andalus during the early Middle Ages at our annual Ball.   This year, we have added some new and exciting activities for your enjoyment.

[ART] Bronzehelm 12th Night Celebration

Light a candle and greet the new calendar as we host the 30th Anniversary of this wondorous event here in our Shire. Indoor combat aplenty will decide the new champions for the year ahead in both the armored and rapier arenas. We will also have a new Bardic champion chosen during dinner.

Manx Museum to display 14th century bishop's seal

In February 2012, metal detectorist Andy Falconer discovered a silver seal on te Isle of Man in England. The seal was identified by the Manx Museum as a 14th-century bishop's seal, and have now placed the important artifact on display. (photo)

The organizers of the 34th Annual Medieval and Renaissance Forum at Plymouth State University, Plymouth, NH, are calling for papers for the April 19-20, 2013 conference. The topic is “Travel, Contact, Exchange.”
