Hidden Treasures at Wisconsin museum

From December 18, 2010 through February 27, 2011, the Chazen Museum of Art in Madison, Wisconsin will present Hidden Treasures: Illuminated Manuscripts from Midwestern Collections, an exhibition of "rarely seen ornate handmade books from university libraries, museums, and private collections in seven states."

Isabelle Le Charpentier's photos from Danelaw Feast

Isabelle Le Charpentier, of the Kingdom of Atenveldt, reports that she has created an album of photos from Danelaw Feast, a non-SCA event, which took place recently in Arizona. The photos are available on PicasaWeb.

Papers and artifacts of Richard II found by National Portrait Gallery archivist

Krzysztof Adamiec, the assistant archivist at the National Portrait Gallery, was given the assignment of cataloguing the papers of the Gallery’s first Director Sir George Scharf when he discovered something amazing: fragments and artifacts from the tomb of King Richard II.

CĂșchulainn film in production

The Celtic gods will get their day when the story of Cúchulainn, Ireland's greatest warrior, comes to movie theaters. The film will be part of a "multi-platform project planned to include a documentary series, stage show, educational programming and graphic novel."
