We are pleased to announce that the 3rd annual Tri-Baronial Tournament will take place on January 17, 2010 at 9 AM at El Oso Park. Come test your skills against the finest archers in the Baronies of Atenveldt, Sun Dragon, and Twin Moons.

Brace your selves for a combat extravaganza of heavy combat and fencing that will blow your mind. Bring your sword and armor for a day of teaching and learning. Classes will be hands on and catered to the students in attendance. Those without armor, fear not: there will be a place for hands-on help building armor, hopefully with enough time to finish before Sunday's regional fight practice. There will also be an armor garage sale, so bring the extra armor you have just lying around, slap a price tag on it and see if you can get someone else to take it home!

As War Practice Looms Near, let it be known to the Kingdom of Atenveldt that the privilege of carrying the Memorial Gauntlet for the year is once again at hand. As per Kingdom Rules, this tournament is held during War Practice and thus hereby the time and place as 9:30 a.m. (set up will start at 9am.)

The Celtic Psalter, Scotland's oldest book, dating to the 11th century, has been placed on display at the University of Edinburgh for the first time in history. The book contains "hand-written psalms in Latin, with Celtic and Pictish illustrations."
