The noise heard at the Lincoln Park (Pittsburg, Kansas) July 4th celebration wasn't only fire works this year, but also the sound of sword on shield as members of the local SCA group put on a demonstration of their fighting skills. Nikki Patrick of the Morning Sun has the story.
