14th century coin found in York midden

Archaeological volunteers at York, England's Hungate Dig don't expect to find much, but Richard Daniel was lucky when he recently unearthed a 14th century gold coin.

Medieval and Renaissance Galleries open at the V&A

Two vigiled at Northshield's Boar's Head

Their Majesties Siegfried and Elizabeth, King and Queen of the Kingdom of Northshield, have announced that They have placed two citizens of Their Kingdom on vigil for elevation to peerages. The announcement took place at Court at the recent Boar's Head event.
