Oyez, oyez! Fighters of AEthelmearc, our scouts bring word of a hoard of mercenary troops massing across the North Bridge. Their intention is not yet known, but their weapons can nott be for peaceful negotiation. Gather one and all, and help us repel these attackers back across the bridge they crossed on. And after, celebrate the glory of the day with feast and tales of battle.
The day’s activities will include the Wyntersett Guardian Tourney, a Bear-Pit Tourney, an open-field melee, and the main battle upon the bridge. Also planned, a wine & mead making demonstration, and an A&S expo, both organized by our minister of Arts and Science Vito the destroyer (Steve Genovese, email@example.com). So finish up those Pennsic projects and enter them in the expo.

My Lords and Ladies, the Barony of Blatha an Oir and the Barony of Stromgard, being unable to settle their differences peacefully, have "regretfully" announced that they have no choice but to settle them on the battlefield.

Now, of course, everyone loves a good war, and we also know that many members of the populace have other interests, as well. That's why there will also be Archery, Thrown Weapons, Games, Hattie Longtooth Memorial Woodworking Contest, Iron Needle, Single-Entry A&S Competition, a Mini-Ithra, Tabletop Trebuchet Contest, War Siege Engines, Pied Piper activities, and more….

Southern Crusades just wouldn't be the same without special events. We all look forward to such things as Torchlight Tourneys, the Bardic Competition, and the Dance and Drum Competition to entertain us, test our mettle, and bring us together with our friends at War. Also, as the war grows bigger, there is a need for exciting new events; perhaps Period Demonstrations or daytime performances on Merchant's row. If you are interested in hosting or running an event at Southern Crusades, please contact Lady Perin ( firstname.lastname@example.org) so that we can help make that happen! Location:
