The Archbishop of Canterbury has opened a 13th century church which was relocated from its original site in Pontarddulais near Swansea, Wales to the National History Museum in St Fagansa.

The first two Unbelted Tournaments will be held at Nahrun Kabirun's SCA encampment at the DAAC Renaissance Arts & Crafts Faire to be held on the 3rd & 4th of November respectively. The first Tournament of the series fought on Saturday the 3rd will be fought using Single Sword, on hand. If the on hand is struck, then the off hand may be utilized.
The second tourney of the series will be fought on Sunday the 4th using

On Sun. 11/4/07 the Maya Archers of Roseville will present the 17th Annual Awesome Stickbow Classic. Only longbows and recurves allowed. No compound bows. 28 3-D animal targets at unmarked yardages. 8 targets shot at from a moving canoe! a flying goose! a raffle. Breakfast and lunch will be sold.
You can wear your period garb if you so desire. There
will also be Mountain Men and American Indians.

Armored knights were one of the draws at the recent Medieval Festival, a fundraiser for the Oatland Island Wildlife Center near Savannah, Georgia. The activities included an armored combat demonstration, chainmail-making, Middle Eastern dancing and jugglers.

The Barony of Concordia of the Snows is honored to be the hosts of this year's Fall Crown Tournament, to be held on the Third day of November in the year 2007. The festivities will commence at the Midway Fire Dept. Grove and Banquet Hall, 1956 Central Avenue, Colonie, NY 12205. The feast will feature the culinary delights of our own Lady Deirdre O'Rourke.
