Dragonlake II

description:
The Shire of Swordcliff will be holding Dragonslake II. It will be a day of questing and fighting in honor of our Champion the Great Gailen for saving our dragon from the Dragon Slayer that came from the Eastern Kingdom. There will be a quest for heavy, light, non fighters and children so that all may participate in his honor. We had a fantastic time last year and hope this year will be even better. Atlantia Crown Tournament

description:
The Canton of Falcon's Cree, and the Barony of Nottinghill Coill, welcome you to Atlantia's Fall Crown Tournament. We hope you have a splendid day as we gather to discover which worthy combatant will emerge victorious in their quest to name their consort and themselves the next King and Queen of our fair Kingdom.

Tavern at Kingdoms Edge III

description:
Ahoy thare matey, set sail to the fair Shire of Port Oasis to join us for the Tavern at Kingdoms Edge III, Being held November 16th thru 18th, 2007, at the Cabell County 4-H Camp, 6040 Booten Creek Road, Huntington WV 25705. The site opens 6:00 p.m. Friday, and closes 12 Noon on Sunday. Fighting, fencing, archery, A&S, gaming, treasure hunt, children’s activities and merchants are all planned. Wicker Man Festival

description:
The Barony of Blackstone Mountain would like to invite one and all to our 4th Annual Wicker Man Festival. Heavy Weapons Fighting along with Fencing, Archery and Thrown Weapons will be featured along with an Arts and Sciences competition and a wonderful feast. After dark we will burn the Wicker Man and have a Bardic Circle. Merchants are encouraged to attend and you will not be charged any fees besides the usual event fees. Location:

Arrows' Flight Insurrection

description:
Insurrection is the first event to be held in the Tooele, Utah area in a very long time if not ever. You can look forward to 9 acres of a well maintained park with a very large building for indoor activities.

Activities include:

  • WAR games: we will have a Torch Light tourney and Melee combat.
  • Rapier: A Tourney and Melee
  • Archery: Prime shooting world class archers
  • A&S Display: Bring your work and get some useful critiques. Location:

Drachenwald Kingdom University

description:
The Barony of Knight's Crossing invites you to Drachenwald's annual Kingdom University, where we will gather to share and expand our knowledge in sundry subjects. To this end, we have arranged to use one of the Baron's lovely manor estates, the Petershof, located in the heart of the beautiful Odenwald.

Eskalya Yule

Please join the Baron and Baroness of Eskalya in welcoming the New Year at our Yule celebration December 8, 2007. The site will open at 11am with opening court held at noon. Sea Stallion reaches Ireland

After several serious set-backs, the Viking ship Sea Stallion has reached Dublin, Ireland. The ship, with its 65-member crew, left Denmark on July 1, 2007 for the historic voyage.

"Dauntless Libby" remembered in article

Kimberly Matas of the Arizona Daily Star remembers Elizabeth Jane Christensen for the warrior she was in an article chronicling the life of the SCA member. "Dauntless Libby" died August 7, 2007 at age of 44.

Equestrians muster at Pontoon Beach

On July 21, 2007, 17 members of the Barony of Shattered Crystal brought their mounts to Pontoon Beach, Illinois to practice their equestrian skills. Scott Cousins of the Granite City Press-Record has the story.

12 medieval graves found at Aldbourne

Archaeologists working on a dig at Crowcastle in Aldbourne, England have discovered 12 graves dating back to the 8th century. The remains were unearthed during excavation for a housing development.

Edinburgh's lost tower found

Archaeologists working at Edinburgh Castle in Scotland have found what they believe to be remnants of the Constable's Tower, destroyed during the reign of Elizabeth I. The tower was thought to have been lost forever.

Footprint in time

The footprint of a hobnailed sandal has caused quite a stir since it was discovered during work at the Roman city of Sussita, east of Lake Kinneret in Israel.

Hunter's Moon

Site opens 9 a.m. and Closes 5 p.m. This Year's theme is a "Scadian Pentathlon" with; Archery, Thrown weapons, fencing,heavy weapons, and an A&S competition. Youth contests in all areas if enough interest.There will be a sideboard buffet from 12 noon till 4 p.m. with various foods. Merchants are welcome.This is a "Scadian Pentathlon" to test everyone's prowess. You can compete in as many events as we have, or if you prefer, stick with one all day. The Pentathlon winner will be the individual who score the most points.Each station will also have it's own tourney winner. Fun for all is to be had ! Location:

Rampage on the River

description:
The Shire of Ironwood Loch would like to welcome all to our Rampage on the River along the banks of the Colorado River. Bring dish for potluck. Potluck will take place at sundown Saturday. This year's event has been changed to a one day event. You may camp Saturday evening. Site is wet. Pets welcome but must be leashed, smoking is allowed, bring shade. There will be a single communal fire pit. Porte potties will be available. There is a boat ramp for water toys. Location:
