On July 1, 2007, a crew of 65 men and women set sail from Denmark to Dublin on a reconstructed Viking warship called the Sea Stallion. The project's goal was to recreate the journey of the Viking raiding parties.

St Mary and St Eanswythe Church, built in 1128 in Folkestone, England, will open its doors for a tour to raise money for repairs. Registration is required for the tour which will take place July 9 at 11:00 am.

The Mongolian Naadam Festival will take place July 14, 2007 in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. The event will feature archery, wrestling and a folk concert.

The Shire of Crimson River will be holding a regional fighter practice and potluck on Saturday, July 14th, 2007. We will begin around 10:00 and keep going until everyone gets tired or it gets too dark.
Bring a dish if you want to. Leave a donation if you want to. Either way, nothing is required except that you come and enjoy our hospitality.
There will be fighting of course. We will also be working on some heraldry basics.
