Our event autocrated by the talented Lord Liam MacanTsaoir is themed on the battle of Agincourt that was fought in northern France as part of the Hundred Years' War. The battle was fought on a rainy day, the feast day of Saint Crispin, in 1415 between the English and Welsh army of King Henry V and the French army of King Charles VI. Location:

Art historians are excited about the possible discovery of a Botticelli fresco in the ruins of a Hungarian palace. The large work was found in remains of the palace of Archbishop Janos Vitez, the head of the country's Catholic church from 1465 to 1472.

21st century laser technology will be used over the next two years to analyze Ireland's famous Book of Kells, a 9th century gospel housed at Trinity College in Dublin. Experts hope that analysis of the pigments may shed new light on medieval Irish trade routes.

Archaeologist Andrew Holmes believes he has discovered the site of the Indian town of Mauvilla where Spanish explorer Hernando De Soto engaged local Indians in a massive battle. The town is near the forks of the Alabama and Tombigbee rivers in southern Clarke County, Alabama.
