My Lords and Ladies, the good people of Fendrake Marsh invite you, one and all, to join our fair shire, for a night of feasting and frivolity. Feast will be served at 5pm (please adjust for SCA time differential). Menu includes; Salad, butters, fruits, cheese, rotisseried chicken, saffron rice, spiced pear stew, roast beef, seasoned cauliflower, stuffed eggs, gingerbread, and fine cakes.

Once again, good gentles, do we invite all that is good and great from these Sylvan Lands to celebrate the medieval origins of the carousel and to give aide to the good gentles of the Herschell Carousel Museum. As always, this is a FREE event to all SCAdians who attend in garb and troll in. The day will be full of entertainment, pageantry, arts, games, food and tournaments in Heavy Weapons, Archery, Thrown Weapons, Fencing and, yes, Equestrian. Period dogs under their owner’s control, are welcome. "Rule Britannia: Art, Royalty, & Power in the Age of Jamestown" -- featuring the "Armada" portrait of Queen Elizabeth I, never before been exhibited in the U.S. -- will be on display at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond, through August 12.

Come one and all to this Succession of the Barony of Rowany! Celebrate the completion of the tenure of Hrothgar and Helene, and welcome Gui and Aeflaed as the newest Baron and Baroness of Rowany.
