Archaeologists are preparing to begin a major dig at the site of the 2002 Old Town fire in Edinburgh's Cowgate district. They hope to find the remains of buildings dating as far back as the 12th century.

The Shire of Drygestan is pleased to host May Day Melees, occurring on May 5, 2007, from 10AM to 4PM.
This year's May Day Melées will be held on Saturday, May 5th, in one of the
Rancho Viejo Subdivision's parks, on the corner of Richards Avenue and El
Cuero Way. This is the same location as last year's. We have the site from

Come join Buckston-on-Eno for a tribute to Don Quixote: a day of chivalry, revelry, and a celebration of Spanish culture! Not only are we tilting at windmills, we are turning the whole event upside down! There will be activities and contests sure to please everyone - but be warned that the feast will be at midday and the fighting in the twilight hours!
NOTE: If you are planning to bring a child not your own to the event, please review the youth information! We cannot allow children on site without the proper forms!

Come and remove the "rust of the winter" from your armor! Fling the cloth yard shaft on the archery range (weather permitting). Fencers come and foil your opponents. Children come pursue combat with boffer weapons. Spend some coin in the merchant area or pass the time socializing in the great hall.

Peter A. Renzetti, AKA "The Unknown Blacksmith" and owner of Arden Forge, is retiring. His shop and all of its contents go on the auction block in mid-May in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
