April 6 is National Tartan Day!

On March 9, 2005, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 41 recognizing National Tartan Day! This year (2007) it will be observed on April 6, so dust off your plaids, pull on your kilts and do a jig in celebration!

London branch taps their natural resources - beer and museums!

The Shire of Thamesreach (mka London, England) is taking advantage of the vast cultural resources at hand in London, and is starting 'Beer and Museum' evenings, on occasional Friday nights in the city, to combine two favourite pastimes of its members.
