The discovery of a 2nd century BCE coin in Cornwall may change how pre-Roman Britons are viewed. The pre-Roman Republic silver coin proves that active trading took place with the inhabitants of Britain before Rome conquered the island.

The hunting horn sounds again, deer are getting ready to flee, hunters' calls can be heard from all sides. It is Hunting Season again!
For the 8th year the shire of Ad Flumen Caerulum opens the hunting season and once more invites all archers to celebrate the beginning of the hunt from Friday to Sunday, 13th to 15th of July, 2007.

Join the Shire of Hrafnafjörðr (Ravensfjord) as we host our Spring Collegium. Hot beverages will be provided. This is a wet site with drinks that can be bought in the bar through your Autocrat, and her assistant. No one else is allowed in the bar to buy drinks or hangout. No liquor is allowed to be brought from the outside into the building. We will be having a finger food pot luck that will be held through the whole Collegium. Join the Marche of Gwyntarian in the Barony of Brendoken as the Marche and friends host Crown Tournament and Kingdom A&S Saturday, May 26 & Sunday May 27, 2007. Site opens 9AM and closes at 10PM.
The event site is the Tadmor Shrine Center in Akron, Ohio, at the junction
of Arlington Road and I-77. An HC-friendly site, the building is all on one
floor, and features a main hall that measures over 6,000 square feet.

The site has 30 beds with real mattresses and 30 camp mattresses for crash space (first come, first served). Showers are available on site. There is a small (10 metre ) archery range available if we can provide a GNAS certificated Marshal.
