Seahenge, a 4000-year-old wooden circle which appeared on a beach near Holme, England in 1998, will not be available to be viewed by the public until 2008, according to curators at the Lynn Museum where the artifact is being restored.

Welcome one and all to our Snowball Fight! Our event will be held at St John de LaSalle, 8469 Buffalo Ave Niagara Falls NY 14304.
We will have Fencing, Fighting and Youth Fighting. A youth fencing demo will be held as well. Showers are available to those who partake in our festivities. We will also be having our famous LaMans A&S competition, all supplies will be available on site to create your entry, everyone is welcome to enter!

The Barony of Stonemarche invites you to the XVIII annual Market Day at Birka. It will be held this year on January 26-27, 2007 at the Center of New Hampshire in Manchester, NH.
With last year's great success on Friday night, we will again open the Gates that evening from 7 – 10pm for check in. There will be shopping and a Pre-Revel then in addition to our usual Saturday schedule of events. Merchants, in the Exposition Center side, are offered the opportunity to open for business. Merchants, Friday is not required. Detailed information for merchants regarding this will be available on the web site ().

The Canton of Coille Stoirmeil is hosting Rumble in the Forest. As the Event Steward I'd like to invite y'all to join us to rump in da forest this Saturday, January 6. You all know me I made sure we had Fighting including melee for Rapier and Heavy! I heard that Heavy MIC (Hawthorn) probably have a game of sheep ball planned. With a fun and creative feast, you know us you never go hungry.

It is time once again for the Crosston Dance Ball. If you enjoy period dance to music by live musicians, here is your chance to dance the night away. In the afternoon, there will be dance instruction led by our fabulous dance instructors, Vyncent atte Wodegate, Isabel D Triana, and Geoffrey Matthias. A delicious feast prepared by Lady Chiara la Trombottiera will follow the instructions. As the cold winter has put nature to sleep, Yuletide brings forth the promise of days growing bigger and the grass awakening from its deep slumber. All and all a perfect time to come and rejoice with the Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands on its celebration of the Twelfth Night! Their Excellencies, Alonzio and Tatyana will hold their Baronial Court and her Excellency will also choose her Bardic Champion. There will be performances from the Debatable Choir, the Debatable Consort and I Genisii, dancing, a pillow fight (which has now become a 12th night tradition!), an A&S display (run by THL Odriana vander Brugghe, email at firstname.lastname@example.org) with a Yule theme, a fencing tournament, children activities, our Silent Auction and much more to be scheduled! Several years ago Midrealm subject and machinist Ben Scheiner learned he would need armor to take part in SCA fighting in the Barony of the Fenix. Now he has parlayed the hobby and his flair of metalworking into a fulltime job as an armorer. The Cincinnati Enquirer has the story.

Bardic Madness celebrates the bardic arts: poetry, song, story, and more. Watch the event website for a list of challenges and classes.

There will be space for League of Rapier Academies challenges.
There will be space for pick-up bouts for everyone including those who haven't authorized yet. Loaner gear will be available.
