Her Excellency Angelina Nicollete de Beaumont, Baroness of Lyondemere, Caid, has issued a "One Book, One Barony" challenge to the populous of Lyondemere, an SCA analog to the "One Book, One Community" program started in 1998 to get people interested in reading and create a community wide book club.

You are invited to the Tarnmist Harvest Feast be held at the Eagle Castle Winery off of Hwy 46 West just south of Paso Robles. It is on November 18th starting at 11am. Come and join us for a day of fighting and a evening of feasting. There is to be a heavy fighter practice or small tourney if enough are interested.

Jarl Alfar of Attica was victorious in the Kingdom of Lochac's November Crown Tourney held in the Barony of Ynys Fawr this weekend. He fought for Mistress Gudrun, and defeated Sir Asbjorn Pedersen (fighting for Mistress Marienna Jensdottir) 2-0 in the final. Sir Asbjorn was the only combatant to reach the finals without sustaining a defeat.
