Chicago festival brings together reenactors from many eras
At a hotel in Arlington Heights, a suburb of Chicago, Illinois, SCA members joined reenactors from other times from Roman to mid-20th century at Reenactor Fest: A Convention for the Ages. Chicago's Beacon News reporter Mike Dahaney has the story.

Friedrich Ethelred aus Schloss Trier, Estrella War XXII Internal Publicity Deputy, has announced that the West Kingdom will host a party at the West Kingdom Encampment during the Estrella War. It will also sponsor the Mad Dog Tournament.

Medieval Cemetery Found in Leicester

A construction company, making way for a new shopping mall, has discovered a large, medieval cemetery near the English city of Leicester. The cemetery appears to have been in use from the 12th through 16th centuries.

16th Century Tudor Chapel Found

A Tudor chapel, originally built by Henry VII, has been discovered at the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich, England. The original vault has been found completely intact.

The gentles of the Barony of Caer Anterth Mawr and the Shire of Ravenslake are very excited about this years’ camping event. We have planned many activities. The site is the same as last year and it absolutely beautiful.
We are surrounded on three sides by a lake where there is a beach for swimming. There is a hill with trees that adds to the fun of the fighting field. We will again be sponsoring heavy, light and children’s combat and archery. There will be A&S classes and activities and merchants selling their wares.
