Scott Farrell, two time King of Caid, has had some experience in ruling. Recently he put that experience to good use by taking on the role of King Arthur in the American Rose Theatre's production of Camelot. Patricia Morris Buckley of the North County Times (California) reports.

Come one, come all to Winter's Gate Harvest Captaincy Tourney held Labor Day weekend September 2nd and 3rd. Activities will include the Heavy tournament for the Captain of Winter's Gate Militia. This list is open to all interested fighters but either the fighter or the consort must be a member of Winter's Gate Barony.
There will also be a Baroness' Rapier Champion
tourney.and a flower tourny for both heavy and light.

The Shire of Windy Meads, in league with the Principality of Cynagua, is hosting a newcomers' collegium on Saturday, August 5, at the Masonic Hall in Esparto. That's about 15 miles West of Woodland.
We have numerous instructors already, but we could use help in a few

Drivers traveling through western Pennsylvania this summer may find themselves asked to complete surveys regarding their travel plans, according to Mark Celko of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. The surveys will be conducted at 25 checkpoints throughout a ten county area.
