Archers Helped Colonize the World

In a recent paper, archaeologist and Cambridge professor Paul Mellars suggests that the technological development of the bow and arrow helped lead to human colonization of the world.

British archaeologists find the King's Table

The Australian reports that sections of the King's Table, an elaborately-carved stone table used for English coronation feasts and state banquets as far back as the 13th century, have been found under the floor of the Palace of Westminster.

There comes a time each year that the Coronet of the strong and noble Barony of Dragonsspine requests that fighters from throughout the Kingdom come test their mettle in tournaments of skill and chivalry. These tests of skill will include all of the fighting arts such as heavy combat, rapier finesse and the art of the long strike with archery. Greetings and welcome are bid to all Bards, Troubadors, Trouveres, Minstrels, Minnesingers, Jongleurs, Singers, Storytellers, Poets, Scops, Skalds, Fillids, Olaves, Griots, Wordsmiths, and Friends of these arts. Also Musicians, Dancers, Jugglers, Magicians, and Players as well.
