Keeping the Past SAFE

The looting of Baghdad's National Museum in 2003 inspired the founding of Save Antiquities For Everyone, or SAFE. The organization aims to protect antiquities and preserve the world's cultural heritage.

Medieval Minnesota

Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minnesota, will be hosting a unique "summer camp" to study medieval history and life, for students aged 13-17.

Warlord's Tourney

description:
Our current Warlord, Geoffrey Scott, assures us there will be a great deal of fighting on this day. The format of the tourney will be determined once the number of participants is known, so come on out and vie for the title of Southern Shores Warlord! There will also be classes in marshalling, youth combat, and dance. There will be a needlework circle and an A&S display as well.

An SCA King In Camelot: Duke of Caid plays King Arthur on stage

Scott Farrell, known in the SCA as Duke Guillaume de la Belgique, will portray King Arthur in a San Diego, California, production of the musical Camelot. The production runs July 8 through July 16, 2006.
