The Castle's Stewards CADW (The Welsh National Heritage Trust) were so pleased with our presence last year, that they have given us permission to use all parts of the castle in all manner of Noble emprises of Arms Bridges, Gateways, Courtyards, Towers, Small Chambers, Large Chambers, Doorways, and Donjons all will be the scenes of our affairs. Ambuscades, Escalades, assaults, defences, pas de armes, prize playings, Behourds, tourneys, Challenges, Hastilitudes and Grand Melees shall all be held, Both in Harness in combat a plaisance, and without as in Defencing, both inspired by the honour of our ladies and consorts and our companions in arms on the field. Come join Ian and Katherine, Viceroy and Vicereine of Ostgardr, at Putnam County Veterans Memorial Park for the their last Provincial Championships. Competitions will be held to choose the Rattan, Fencing, Archery, Bardic and Tangible Arts Champions. There will be Open Competitions in all categories for those not eligible to be Champions.

Madness comes to the Barony of Endless Hills. Melee Madness that
is. We have not one, but two events at the same time and place! If your interests are towards martial pursuits, you are in for a treat! Heavy weapons activities include a singles tourney, a warlord tourney and melees, melees, melees! Combat archery is allowed at this site but target archery is not. Martially inclined, but heavy weapons are not to your liking? We will be having both a fencing tournament and a thrown weapons tournament to satisfy those inclinations. An Arts and Sciences Competition will be held as well and don't forget, for those camping Saturday night we'll have our famous Melee Madness Bardic Circle.

In typically Byzantine fashion the Frankish/Venetian army has been called upon to invade the city by Prince Alexius of Constantinople, son of the deposed Emperor Isaac. Alexius has begged aid of the assembled Frankish & Venetian armies of the Fourth Crusade to aid him in restoring the scarlet buskins of the Emperor to his father, who languishes in prison where he was thrown after having his eyes torn out by his brother.

The Schola Saint George is proud to announce that we are combining our International Swordsmanship Symposium with the Western Martial Arts Workshop (WMAW) for 2006 to create what will surely be the most spectacular Western martial arts event held October 13 - 15 in Lewisville, TX.
