Once again good gentles do we invite all that is good and great from these Sylvan Lands to celebrate the medieval origins of the carrousel and to give aide to the good gentles of the Hershell Carousel Museum.
Bring your skills, your pageantry and your good will. For this day will be a day of both the Arts and the Martial. There will be the A&S tent where artists are able to work at their arts while sharing with the public. Display areas will be set up in the Museum's display room, so bring something you are proud of.

The August Company of The Martillodores does invite all combatants and witnesses to attend the L'Esercisio Della Spada (The Exercise of the Sword) To be held on the 10th of June, 2006 Mather Regional Park, Sacramento, California.
With the gracious hosting of the and the good Shire of Betony Wood and the Barony of Fettburg, The Company of The Martillodores does send word to all would care to challenge us to once again come to our Field of Honor and fight with Courtesy, Skill, Camaraderie and Style! All who would come to meet us will be prepared to show the assembled Gallery and The Company of the Martillodores their best display of those said qualities in the Arte of Defense with the rapier. Come to the great boreal forest for a weekend of thrills and the (second) greatest camping event in the whole of Ealdormere. We have a private northern forest on a tranquil creek, plus access to a number of fine lakes where you may fish, swim, or fool around (please bring your own tackle and permits). This year we have a small kitchen for those who do not wish to cook over coals (but please let the event steward know what you plan to cook) plus many food sellers close by, a fine dining hall for classes as well as eating, and a large lawn for pavilions, fighting, archery, dancing, and all the usual stuff (e.g., children's activities, trading circle, and rock throwing). This year collegium will be a 2 day event full of classes. There is room for Rapier Practice/ classes on Saturday & Heavy Practice/classes on Sunday.
