These regions changed dramatically with various small "kingdoms" emerging and then being overtaken in the eastern part of the Mediterranean, as Muslims societies pushed into Anatolia (modern Turkey) and confronted the Byzantine Empire. The Tournaments will be held on at Potters Park, corner Dominion and Balmoral Roads, Balmoral, Auckland. Rapier Tourney commences at 12pm sharp and Tourney of Roses begins at 2pm. So bring along your picnic lunch and be enthralled by the bardic talents and swordsmanship of the Barony's finest. Entrants in the Tournament of Roses will need to bring at least half a dozen roses and a consort to bestow them upon. Location:
